Luna's Nightmare Part 1

You all know the great kingdom of Equestria, the home of ponies and bizarre happenings. But, half a world away, a small mill town was waking. Two of the most likable citizens were a 16 year old boy and his dog. They would walk up and down the streets, helping out their neighbors with the greatest intent of making a good impression. But, one day, the quiet town experienced something bizarre. A great storm arose and shook all of the house and cottages that were located in the town. The boy and his dog were outside helping their neighbors prepare for the brunt of the storm. Then the boy's dog stepped out from the cover of a blue tarp. A large dark purple cloud sent down a fierce lightning bolt which struck the innocent pooch. The boy ran to his injured companion, but stopped dead in his track but what he saw when the smoke faded. A horse, a black horse with a blue fog surrounding it stood where his dog once stood.
The horse spoke, "I am Nightmare Moon, and I have come to destroy this village to make way for my kingdom." The boy then ran towards a nearby phone but was struck by another streak of lightning. I then walked out to see this hideous display. Two torched bodies lay close to each other, one still twitching as it lay. I walked towards Nightmare Moon, and stared directly into her souless eyes. "So, you're back I see...," I said to the evil beast, "....not for long!" I then ran towards my small home, only to see another brilliant purple flash. But this time, it was not lightning.
I noticed it was another pony, she looked very similar to Nightmare Moon. She introduced herself to me, "Hello, human, I am Princess Luna." I introduced myself, "Hey, the name's Jace." She saw Nightmare Moon and ran towards me. She cowered behind me as I reached for my sniper's rifle. I had that freakin' Nightmare looking directly at me, so I fired a shot.
Damn thing just missed her head. Went right through the blue fog around her though. That Nightmare Moon charged me, so I fled into the kitchen. Luna and I cowered in the kitchen when I heard two knocks on the back door.
I opened the door to find two more ponies staring up at me. They introduced themselves as Fluttershy and Applejack, and explained that a third pony was on her way. One named Rainbow Dash...
