I know I used to have pictures of some of my inflatables up, and someone reported me and had the admins take them down Apparently, unless you made it yourself, or it was commissioned, photos of inflatables aren't allowed here You can find photos here though, and I know some really good inflatable artists here... er, by inflatable artist I mean people who draw inflatable stuff XD. Anyway, what bugs me about that rule is I've looked around here, and I find tons of photos of inflatables people didn't have commissioned or made themselves
Anyway, the most I can do for you is recommend these artists galleries for you to check out; Rawr dariomouse indyfox and Puffypaws They have some stuff you may like
Same here:/ I think I got as far as four or five before some random person told me about this one rule here and then had the pictures taken down Yeah, it sucks they took my pictures down, but I get that they're doing job here, so I try not to hold it against them. It does suck though:/
" what bugs me about that rule is I've looked around here, and I find tons of photos of inflatables people didn't have commissioned or made themselves"
that's simply because they haven't gotten reported [or they're within the guidelines somehow], it's not like they're getting special treatment, just consider how many users there are on this site, and how able the Admins are to look at all those submissions.
well yeah, this is an art site, not a fetish site or photobucket.
I don't mean to sound rude, sorry if I do, just a LOT of users seem to think this is a social networking site, or a personal photo gallery, which it isn't. and it would flood out all the actual artists posting their work here if there wasn't a rule regulating personal and collection photos.
There ARE some inflatable photographers though, not sure if it's the kind you're looking for, but they do true artistic photography which includes inflatables. for example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/669249/
I'm sure you can tell the difference between this and a simple point-and-shoot camera shot taken of something on a bed. but yeah, that and drawn-inflatable art is probably the best you're going to do.
I get what you're saying, and I understand where you're coming from, the situation at that time just seemed kind of unfair to is all. I understand that they weren't out to get me or anything and that they were just doing their jobs as admins here, so I try not to hold that against them. I still think it sucks my pictures got taken down, but I understand why they were removed.
ok I'm glad, there are so many users here that never bother to read the AUP or TOS and just go ahead steadily breaking one or many of the rules, who get so incredibly insulted when their submissions get taken down.
A few times I've tried to help, I'd see them breaking simple rules and I would note them, informing them they'll probably get their gallery deleted and I don't think a single person has replied kindly to me for warning them. I wasn't threatening them, wasn't saying I was going to report them, yet they treated me like I just stepped on their face.
I think it's just people's first thought when they're warned about stuff like that. When they hear something like that, Their first thought is "This persons saying my gallery is going to be deleted" or "This person is threatening to report me", so I think that's why they get upset. You're not threatening them or anything, but that's just more often than not the first conclusion they come to. With me, ultimately, I didn't read the rule, I put the pictures up, and they were taken down. It was my bad, and I know to check the rules now.
