oh.... its becuase its pink?

I didn't know that... the journals I've read just said that they really hated the banner... I didn't know it was because it was pink...

The banner still looks nice... even if it is pink... it does fit the month and holiday... don't know why its annoying people... its a perfect Valentines themed banner ^.^

I'm not talking about the banner though. The people bickering about it made me laugh though, but It's not the banner I'm talking about.

It has its place and can look good on some, but it's just not for me. It's fine on my mouse's ears and paws and ... tail... and such, but it's not something I'd wear on clothing. Just not my style. It's usually assumed to be fairly girly and femmy, and I like my boys looking like boys. :)

Aye. On clothing for a male it might not work, and yes, it does have it's place. Though I've actually seen pink attire on males pulled off quite well. Bret hart is an example. I too see pink as a pretty girly color.. and That's just it. I love it on the lasses. But just like guys, half the lasses out there have that same vendetta against the color. I honestly can't get enough of it when it's on a woman. Well, with the exception of tutus. Bwaha. n.n

Pink has always been harsh on my eyes. MAGENTA is nice, neon pink is excellent, but regular old rose/powder pink? I hate it. Probably has something to do with the color being linked to girly-girls and my being a tomboy.

THIS DESERVES A THESIS!

Pink and neon pink a little garish, some shades of magenta are okay, faded rose pink is for bathrooms and solid bedcovers. While yes, iwith it being an artificial color, I could use it on inflatables a lot, but I still don't like the things being overly garish. (Well, the only pink thing I've really drawn was Tatianna Earthsong, but I think I got he balance right for her. The reddish and purple scheme I gave her originally was cooler in my opinion, though, stood out more.)

But regardless, I like to have slightly more faded colors...and I like using at least somewhat natural colors for my assorted creatures, it looks better that way. Of course, how am I supposed to know...well...*cough* I just go with what looks asthetically pleasing. (Although I'm still undecided on Mceli being purple, that's just me. I'll have someone point that out in Omega Wars. "His coloration hampers our chances of taking him seriously...it's either poor planning on his part of the mark of a tactical genius. Of course, knowing the Eight, the former probably applies.")
