I heard about that too. They apparently don't realize that the whole pedobear thing is a joke or they're taking it way to seriously. Especially the part about real pedos getting pedobear costumes so they can get close to children. Such costumes draw attention even from adults. Not something that a real pervert with the intent of molesting children would want.
