In Umbra I Stalk
My fur was scorched by the dragons spray,
my soul tainted in an I-redeemable way.
Scarred and burned I fled to her womb,
stepping sideways into her caring gloom.
Naked and open I cried curled up in a ball,
I had escaped the dungeons of the dragons walls.
But my mark it burned and stung in heart and soul,
Deviant! Monster! Freak! all were branded with coal.
I felt my rage burn in my chest,
screaming for revenge and bloody zest.
My skin itched my bones they snapped and broke,
and my blacktaloned form I roaring took.
My mane fluttered in Umbras womb,
with a roar I would make it my tomb.
Then I saw her there,
among the white orchids so fair.
Her body it walked with the touch of spring,
and in her wake flowers and love she did bring.
She reached my body and embraced my soul,
her lips kissed my wounds made by the coals.
Her love bound my heart at it's strings,
and her words like tender bells did ring.
She took my clawed hands and tamed my beast,
and my rage was quietly released.
She lured and dragged me into the field,
where the scents of the orchids did heal.
Here I rest, heal and wait,
until i'll return and my creativity and hunger sate.
my soul tainted in an I-redeemable way.
Scarred and burned I fled to her womb,
stepping sideways into her caring gloom.
Naked and open I cried curled up in a ball,
