(Apparently I had an odd sense of humor last night when studying)
Myc – Has activation domain, HTH, Lucine zipper (for dimmer)
CANNOT form homomers
Max – Can form homomers but DOES NOT have an activation domain
Can have MAX MAX (if binds cannot enhance so is a repressor
and MIC MAX (acts as an activator)
Never MYC MYC
MAX would much partner with MYC then another MAX
