The numbers, anyway. Just a quick journal here to post the numbers from the recent portfolio vote. Here we go...

Votes were taken from the Yahoo group, this site and through e-mails. It's possible some folks voted twice (both on FA and the Yahoo group), but there weren't enough of those to overly affect the obvious winner in this case.
So it looks like "Team Player" is the winner! >sigh< Now I'll have to explain to the others why they didn't win. Not too worried about Penance, though. She already has the names of all the folks who didn't vote for her, so expect visits of the unpleasant kind soon, whomever you poor unlucky souls might happen to be.

Everything is done by hand, so it takes longer than using a computer graphics program. And yeah, every hair gets drawn...
The first 2 pages will be black and white, like the older Skunkworks comics. The rest of the pages (except the very last page, which will also be black and white) will be in full color. Given the number of projected panels, I'm figuring I will end up drawing somewhere around 30 pictures for this folio. It will likely have more than the original 12 pages as a result.
Or was I just dreaming?
Really looking forward to seeing Val (is it okay for me to refer to her as Val?) in the upcoming folio. I'm also happy to hear how you plan on setting up the folio, too.
Nice to see Onika got second, and it's still awesome to see Team Player got picked!

im curious about the idea for the Asar project
Perhaps if you ever did sketches or something some time in the distant future (not likely XD) I'd have asked
for one of some asar fun. I'd certainly not mind having a playful Asar male or female to mess around with.
Especially one like Onika. =3 (chunky Asar are very sexy)
Perhaps some time later i'll get to see a bit more Asar fun.

Great to see the Valencia portfolio get so many votes. We've been waiting for that one for a while! I just hope that the 2nd-place win means that we'll get an Onika portfolio a few years down the road. The more I learn about the Asar, the more I like 'em!
It won't take a few years to get the other folios done, but the better the sales are for Team Player, the more time it will allow me to draw the other stuff. The lower the sales, then the more time I have to spend working on mainstream work.
But I kinda figured it would be the "Team Player" folio anyway, since it was first announced almost 10 years ago...
It would have been cool to see you draw other body sizes though >u>
