We were thinking about doing FA this year but some issues may be preventing it. The first, and largest, issue is our moving; we have so much to do and we haven't really started much at all. Focusing on just planning the details and starting the arrangements, not to mention doing the small prep tasks around the new place to get ready for the painters, etc., takes up much of my free thought. I just can't grasp worrying about planning FA.

Then there's the issue of travel and hotel to actually attend FA. I hear that getting a room anywhere around the con is a joke. Is this true? Should I even try?

 ChocolateMuscle wants to get away but I feel a bit guilty traveling considering what we're spending on painting, new furniture, repairs, materials and the moving itself. Maybe we should just go anyway and enjoy some time having fun?
