Skyward Sword and its place in the timeline
14 years ago
THIS WILL HAVE SPOILERS
So the game starts in the typical Zelda way: going through a peaceful day, terrible tragedy strikes, peace shattered, someone or something tells you that you're the hero chosen by the gods, get green tunic.
A few interesting new races, my favorite being the robots, but I miss the Zoras and the squid guys (never caught the name of that race) are not that interesting a substitute for an aquatic race.
Don't really have any complaints about the tools; the beetle was very useful for surveying a room to gain a better understanding of the puzzle, and I like the new option of rolling bombs.
Bosses were not to hard and not to easy... except Ghirahim, spandex wearing pansy was just annoying.
Now about its place in the timeline... No clue! But I do suspect the Demise is the previous incarnation of Ganondorf. They look pretty similar, and until now Ganon has been the only Zelda villain that sought the triforce.
Don't know whether or not to think that Impa might be the same Impa from Ocarina of Time. They look similar, and they both claim to be Sheikah.
It is difficult to say if this marks the birth of the Master Sword; was it forged as the Goddess Sword? Or was it the Master Sword to begin with, and then changed into the Goddess Sword at some point?
Well, that's all I can think to say about that. If you have any thoughts, please share. ^^

Besides, it's fun to find connections between the games. Like in TP where there's that photo in the fishing hut of the of the fishing game guy from OoC.
