blackie5150 contacted me concerning a friend of his who is facing some dire straights right now.  silverpawhusky's father passed away a few days ago from a sudden, unexpected heart attack. You can read his original journal post here. His father was the sole breadwinner for their family, and now they're facing potential homelessness at the holidays thanks to bills and expenses. While I normally don't involve myself in this sort of thing, I know first hand what it feels like to lose a parent, particularly at Christmastime. I also know what a struggle it is to keep a family afloat after that happens. As I am out of a job myself, there isn't much I can do to help financially, I can at least provide some incentive for people to donate. I know  wielder's also done a commission auction to help raise money.

I also don't have a PayPal account, but if you donate money to  silverpawhusky's PayPal at silverpawhusky[at]hotmail.com and email or note me a screenshot of the confirmation, I will do art for you. It may be a quick sketch, inks, or full watercolors, etc. My normal commission rates do not apply to this, and while I'm open to suggestions for what you'd like, this is my thank you for anyone who donates, whatever the amount, so there will be a bit of free reign on my part. =)
