Ah, boy Zek and girl Zek, or more accurately, Zek Min and Zek Mot are both my little furry alter-ego character thingies. ^^ My boyfriend (and first relationship, actually) is  thetakogun, though he's just a lurker on this site.

I actually don't really have a solid design for Zek Mot at the moment, which is why there are still no pictures of her. ^^; Well, that and the fact that I myself can't draw, of course.

thanks...its just all very complicated, and unbearably painful. i have lots of theories as to what happened, though a lack of communication, even though we're suppsoed to still be friends, hasnt allowed me to eliminate or prove any of them. heh...but no one likes a whiny...anything. besides, i coudl go on for awhile and it wouldnt help at all.

XD I actually have a few commissions/gifts Treashin owes me at the moment, and I think one of them is of Zek Mot, but she's damn busy with school at the moment, so i can afford to be patient. well, depending on who you talk to simply bringing up the topic at all is whining. especially since any conversation that includes the topic is absolutely fruitless. its just not worth trying any further.

heh, my situation seems to be the reverse of that, we became our closest friends (at least for me) over the span of four years, even though our communication was limited to phones and the internet. near the end of that we finally were able to obtain the ability to visit each other as well. it was our close friendship that brought us together. its the lose of that that has resulted in my damnation.---and thats where we have reached the point of all the whining and \"woe is me\" i can stand to hear from myself. and thats pretty much the whole story anyways.

yeah, school is a bitch. like in the fall i had basically in early onset of senioritice and fell behind in schoolwork, and now that im catching up i have a new issue. that is that from january through may i pretty much have no freetime due to all extra stuff im in. but its fun...usually.

Yeah, that is the case sometimes. Sometimes talking helps; sometimes it just makes you linger on the topic instead of moving on. ^^;

Sounds like a difficult relationship. Sorry it all came to that. My friend and I became pretty close over a number of years before the incident too, but became much closer after the incident. I haven't had the chance to see this person in six years, myself. I guess I'm saying I do believe there's friendship after something like that happens, but it may not be worth it to both people. It can make it harder to get over them, though it can also help facilitate the same thing. Probably what helps the most is to find somebody else to crush on, though. ^^; Unfortunately, you can't just make that happen.

School! XO School never ends, heh. I agree though, it's fun... usually. XD

it honestly wasnt that bad other than a distance of about 130miles. we were in neighboring states, but we'd gotten so close that it didnt bother us too much, we jsut always had that goal of being able to visit each other as soon as we could. but things changed. and as you pointed out about worth, its painfully obvious im worth very very little to her anymore.

unfortunately about the "crushing on someone else" idea is that i am first off very picky about mates and all. which means that when i do find someone im very confident about it and very devoted to it. but also means i have had very few relationships. my second problem is that due to established reputations dating as far back as 1st grade...i dont have anyone in my area willing to date me let alone be someone i'd actually like to date. ^^;
so i've got a couple years of torture before i can get out to college and we'll see how quickly i fuck up there :P

Heh, and you don't have to tell me about having few relationships. My very first date and kiss was literally less than two weeks before my 22nd birthday. And I think I only had two, maybe three crushes before that. Still, it can be difficult. But things get much easier in college. And people are much more willing not to categorize and label you in college as they are in high school... or hell, in any other previous level of education.

i cant say that's not a possibility, but i see it as highly unlikely. the part that makes it all so confusing is that on the rare chances i have brought these topics up with her she ends up telling me its more in my head than anything. and with my mentality and extremely vivid imagination. it could be, the only way to disspell that is a face to face confrontation. which isnt exactly easy in the middle of the school year.

i cant wait to get out of the hell hole that is my high school and town. i dont care where i go, i just want out.

That's unfortunate. You really have to be able to talk to people who are close to you about things like that, and when they don't want to or are too busy, well... yeah, I know how you feel. I've spent more time than I'd care to add up waiting to talk to one friend or another about important issues...

You know, lots of people will probably tell you that getting out of town isn't going to make your problems go away. Adults told me that a lot before I finally left for college. And to a small extent, they're right... certain things bothering you aren't going to get fixed just by moving from one place to another, in the same way that you can't find true happiness just by being in a wonderful relationship. But... for the most part, it's bullshit. XD Leaving my hometown and coming to a new place with new friends to make and a chance to stand on my own two feet was one of the best things that happened to me. Nobody believed I would do as well as I've been doing, actually. They all thought I'd be homesick within a week; two semesters in, and it hasn't happened yet. I hope you do find somewhere you're interested in. Don't let distance be too much of a factor! I moved from Washington state to Alaska. Love it up here. ^^

yes, its very much an important element. and to be quite honest i've given up on the talking thing. the end result is i dont trust anyone anymore. thats just the way it goes.

well, im not so much trying to get away as a sort of "instant gratification" or a quick fix to my problems. i just need to get out of here. i feel like im in prison, i cant do anything here. there's nothing and no one left for me here. i just need to get away from everyone here. get out and meet new people, clean slate. and jsut be able to get out and see new things. Anthrocon 07 was one of the most eyeopening experiences i've had ever due to its being away from my home. unfortuatnely as i've previously mentioned i think, it also had some crippling negatives as well. as for the homesick part, my mom has scolded me because im so immune to homesicknesses. i would go on boyscout trips or band camp and like never call, because it never bothered me. i love being away from home.

yes, thats what im hoping for. but i still wish above all things that something would change again between me and my old friend that would make things the way they once were and it would stay that way. but yeah, it looks like my only hope now is to get away.
