1. Well i ain't great, but to get to the level i am right now; time, practice and lots of referencing. When i wasn't so lazy/a perfectionist i would pump out numerous pictures a day or varying quality. Now it just takes me ages to do anything because ARGHH THE LINES HAVE TO BE SMOOTH AND PRECISE OTL

Hm, i'm not really sure. Just keep practising ^^' It took me longer than a month to get the handle on my first tablet, and it still takes me longer than a month to get used to any new ones i get. I'd say just sketch stuff out. A lot. Even if you get bored of your own stuff and have to use others' characters, just sketch stuff out at different angles, shades, colours etc. Eventually it'll click.
