FA's been so *wonderful* in promoting the progress and spread of furry art. However, it has one big downside:
It's made it very easy to discover that there are an uncomfortably large number of Furry Artists are truly self-important assholes milking the fandom for social validation.
If you're not one of these.. thank you. You're what makes the Furry Fandom so awesome.
But if you are, then no matter how much I may like your work... Fuck You.

And sadly, it's the assholes who get the most (if not, all) attention, while the people who stay under the radar and don't diminish themselves to the lowest common denom are largely ignored...

The only attention the assholes and "validators" should get is a short drop and a quick stop where their fanbase is concerned.
