I can draw myself, but I pretty much learned to draw on my own and wouldn't really be able to help someone else. x.x

Keep in mind, I'm not asking to be taught how to be an artist. That's impossible. I'm asking to be trained in the mechanical act of putting pen to paper and making it look recognizable.

No I meant wouldn't really be able to. x.x Hell I still have a lot to learn myself and wouldn't really know how to show anyone else to. x.x

A big thing is that I need someone to force me to start doing it, but nobody around here has any patience, and think that since they self-taught (you're not the only one), everyone else should have to do it that way too, as if it's some sort of competition.

Just left to wander about in the wilderness with no supervision or guidance, unfortunately I'm not going to get anywhere. Especially trying to start at such an old age.

I'm not saying anything like that. I just know I wouldn't be capable of showing someone else how to do it properly when I'm still not able to myself.

Well, if you want to learn about fursuit making, I have a little tutorial on my web site (www.windragon-productions.com) that shows' on how I made Shiron the Windragon. I also post some pics on how I started building heads on here. For drawing, my drawings are all free hand and not like most people do. They do drawings with circles to get the basics. I also have a little tutorials on drawing in my faves on DeviantArt (benzene66.deviantart.com). Also, DeviantArt is a great source to look for tutorials on drawing.

It won't. It's all still self-teaching. I actually need someone to be able to personally guide me and tell me directly what to do and when I'm screwing up.

And when it comes to suit stuff, I'd actually need space to work (and again, someone to supervise me :/).

If you want to learn to draw or make suits, I can help you out with that. I taugh a person on how to make a suit and now, he made two of his own. Like for me, i'm a self-taught type person, but i do teach people on what i do on certain areas (computers, fursuit making, etc.). So if you want, i can show you some stuff on suit making and some on drawing

Another way I learn styles is looking at other people's drawings and try to replicate their techniques. Once you see how they did it, you can start developing your own techniques. That's what I did with my drawings, even though all of them are toony.
