For the first time in years, I'm looking forward to the Holidays. I still don't have a job and I'm not even close to where I want to be in my life, but I've been with my mate for a little over a year now, This is going to be our first Christmas together. Last year, we were in a commited relationship, but he still lived here in Virginia and I lived in Massachusetts. I was able to visit him during the first week of December last year, during which I made sure to leave a wrapped present hidden in his place. We were instant messaging each other on Christmas day, and wanted nothing more than to be together. I then told him to go look under his sofa. It brightened up his holiday and mine. This year, I'm looking forward to exchanging gifts, then just lounging around his place, watching silly movies, drinking hard eggnog lattes and pigging out on...uh...I better discuss with Galen what to do for dinner. I wonder what Galen's roommate, Rannan, is doing during the holidays. I hope he's going to be around. He's good company. Anyway, Happy Holidays to all my furry friends out there.
