Ref Sheet Commissions

..¤*|Imagine this type of art|*¤.. After the next two or three ref sheets, I do, my price on them is going up.
I'm not trying to complain or anything because I truly, truly, truly appreciate the few commissioners I've
acquired, so far, but I can feel the gray hairs growing.
If you're sending me pics of your character and 3 out of 4 pictures show your character in a certain way,
I think it would be safe to make conclusion that how they appear in the majority is how they should be.
And, to avoid any confusion, please make notes to highlight certain things that should be in the picture.
I'm not trying to toot my horn but I dish out a lot for the scrap of money I ask for; it's only polite to
show some consideration so that there's no confusion.
Again, I appreciate the commissioners I've gained... it's an exciting thing to finally pull in some
business and feel like I'm finally making a breakthrough. But I will be raising the price on my ref sheets.

talk to a seasoned artist. there are steps you can take and things you can do to help prevent that from happening. i mean, that's why ref sheets are so expensive. because it's that "ok let me go in and touch this up and this up and this up." i know you were cheap, but had i done the 85 dollar amwulf ref sheet, the 85 bucks also buys me asking him to change this a bit and that a little until it's just how i want it. ^^; that's why they wait on finalizing it, showing the sketch for edits, line arts for touch ups, then colors before finally being done with it.

Let's not go shooting for flack because I didn't deny touching up where you'd asked but simply told you to allow me the chance to finish with my next commissions before I get back to it. To be quite honest, it's quite disrespectful to make comparison of artists being as our styles are very much different from one another's.

no no no, i'm not comparing your styles. far from it! >.< i'm sorry, i'm not meaning to be disrespectful. you're art is damn good! i'm not saying you should be like amwulf or something, i was just stating why reference sheets are usually so expensive. *sighs*
