I believe an answer for your question would be the FA IRC chat. However, FA has the option to let you put all sorts of of contact information on your user page so it's easy to connect via other large social networking hubs such as Facebook or Twitter, gaming usernames from Xbox LIVE to Steam, and so on.

I personally haven't used the FA IRC chat, but I can assume it's user friendly enough. Just go to the "Community" drop down selection below the site's banner and click the IRC Chat to learn more.
