R.I.P Dithers

My comet goldfish died ;.; Longest living Goldfish yet. He lost equilibrium yesterday and I took him out of the water into a new bowl. He looked better after awhile, but was still slow. I waited a day to clean out the fish tank, and when I did he had lost equilibrium again so I stuck him into the freshly cleaned fish tank.

He sunk to the bottom breathing slowly. I knew that at that point it was either he pulls through or he doesn't. I waited and I just checked now and he's not breathing and stiff.

*sniff* I'll miss you Dithers ;.; I named him after the Dithering Tool in Adobe Photoshop. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dither Dither fish is also a term for some breeds of aquarium fish to keep the timidity of the Cichlid fish in check. I did not own this kind of fish, and comet fishes are not dither fishes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dither_fish

I lost my other fish, Dodger the Betta Fish, a few months ago. He was named after the Dodge Tool. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_.....photography%29

He was my second longest living fish. Both of them lasted longer than my high-school fish because this time I left the top open so the water could breathe.

I think I want a new tank. The Air Filter is moldy and is part of the base so i can't change it. I also wouldn't mind something bigger, but I don't have the money nor space for it at the moment.
