Okay, serious question here folks. I'm considering posting art here that I got in a trade with an artist who...has a rather bad and I believe pretty public reputation here on FA. The last thing I want is for someone to recognize the artist and then there being nothing but negetaive comments about the artist or about the piece promted by dislike of the artist. However, they're pieces I'd like to post. It's been a while since said artist left the site, so the work may not be recognized.

What would you advise? Post and hope nobody recognizes the artist and just say it was a trade? Give a disclaimer with the work advertising that any negetivity or hostility regarding the artist will be hidden, no quesitons asked? Or would it just be safer to not post it at all? Or another method entirely? I'd greatly appreciate any input, as I feel that, even if this matter isn't as delicate as I fear, it still needs to be handled with some care, given the circumstances.
