She got a brain infection, which well, she can't breath on her own, so she's plugged to a machine now.

Awwwwww, that really sucks. that reminds me of a time that I had to call 911 to help a guy from a heart attack and he had to go to a hospital. He also had to be plugged to a machine and he could not talk. he had to communicate with a machine to try to tell others what he was saying. A month after the incedent he died. So, don't feel like you are alone. even though there was nothing that they could do for him, your Aunt may still have a chance.
