An Unfortunate turn of events. (IMPORTANT)

Today I scorched my hands... I have third degree burns on my hands and it is nearly impossible to type right now, but i figured it would be important to inform my watchers that my work will be put on hold for some time. It was partly my fault and I'm too embaraced to reveal how I got burned. I wish you all a very happy new years and I may get back to work in a few days to a week, well, that's what the doctor said anyway...
I wish to know how it is you got burned. (random person)

I'm such an idiot dude. I went to go pull dinner out from the oven for new years, I couldn't find the actual pad to grab the metal pan so I grabbed the nearest cloth I could find. The stupid part was the fact that the cloth was DAMP. When I grabbed the pan with both hands on the cloth, I started to get steam burns and I being stubborn as I usually am held on to for as long as I could so that I didn't drop it on the ground. I made it to the kitchen table, but when I let go of it. That's when I really started to actually feel the pain. Call it "blisters galore" -_-;
I second mindly grabbed a fresh pumpkin pie and burnt my fingers causing me to gerk up and the back of my hand sinched skin off along the top rack within the hot oven.. that was a painful day and month.
