If someone draws you a picture, (it was for one of those "first ten comments gets a sketch" things) and they say the character belongs to you in the sketch, but then go on to finish the drawing and stop giving credit, would you get salty?
I'm personally pretty fucking salty about the whole thing because I love that character, I asked her to credit me and now all she says is "based on a very loose description of someone's character.
Bull SHIT, whatever, maybe it was loose but I gave her fucking references, it is my character down to the scale pattern and for some reason I cannot comprehend she just won't give me that one inch of saying "character belongs to beyo" srsly. not that difficult.
I asked once, nothing happened, and she was stubborn and bitchy about it so I know that if I bring it up again she'll just throw a shit fit saying she has every right to draw my character willy nilly and give me no credit.
Legally, she does, but it's just not nice.
I also realize that this journal is not nice, but like I said, I'm fucking salty about this whole thing.

no I would be mad too if someone did tht to me. Its stealing someone elses work and claiming it as their own. I feel bad for NeonDragon, she has this book out and others JUST copy her work and say "I did this" which is a lie.

o____o it's... really weird. it seems like this person drew you gift art and then was like "wait, nevermind, it's now just a picture that i have drawn that just happens to be your character." ...except without the "your character" part. that's just strange, i don't really understand at all.
