This thing called College (& a few other tidbits)

So I'm still alive, in case you all were wondering. :)
Move in day and shopping day were pretty crazy, so I really haven't had a chance to update or do art yet (cross your fingers that I will have time!) But I;m actually attending classes now, and so far, it doesn't seem too horrible XD
my first class this morning was at 7:45, which was a bit of a pain, but not too terrible. The teacher is pretty funny, and reminds of Einstein without the crazy hair. The class is all about art, literature, and some film, so it should be interesting enough. too bad I have to walk uphill to the OTHER side of campus, but once I get used to being active again It should be fine. :P haha, yes, lazy me.
Already I have spent a bundle of time with the adorable nephew, so sadly, my roomies haven't seen as much of me as they should XD thankfully they all seem pretty cool.
OTL SO MUCH MONEY SPENT! but...it's for food...and textbooks...and things I need.....BUT STILL *cryface* hahahha oh well. It should be fine....yeah...should be.... Besides, there is this sweet place, the DI, where you can get some super nice stuff for like, $4 (I got two nice, comfy, cute skirts for $4) and a cool hat and a hat/headband thing that is comfy, warm, and cute. for like, $2 or something. It's a beautiful place....
speaking of money, I thought I had forgotten to bring my scholarship check....so there was MUCH panic and as soon as we got back from shopping I was searching through my financial folder etc, when I thought to check my sketchbook.... good ol' sketchbook. I was smart enough to put it there because I knew I wouldn't leave it behind XD
relievedplz SRSLY THO BRO. I JUST ABOUT HAD A HEART ATTACK. THAT'S $2,000 RIGHT THERE.
haaaa, so uhm....
I haven't had a breakdown yet. (yay me!) but then again....my parents aren't gone yet....I see em' one last time before they go home.
...and I'll have my two older sisters and my nephew down here to hang with if I get to homesick. and there is a marvelous invention called a CELL PHONE
