Well my city ( http://2tailsville.myminicity.com/ ) got big enough to use industry.so if anyone cares to visit the main link for population increase and the http://2tailsville.myminicity.com/ind for industry increase I`d appreciate it. Next stop is transportation when I hit 100 I think.

How long did it take before you got to industry increase?
The systems's supposed to be one effect per visit per computer per day, though there seem to be a few out there who've gone to the trouble of working around that. Anyhow, I think each visit increases population* OR infrastructure** but doesn't do both. Without enough infrastructure, the population will start to leave the city in droves... or destroy other infrastructure in a downward spiral by crime and riots and stuff. (Just like Civ III and Sid Meier's Alpha Centuri... stupid drone-faces!)
* by clicking Refresh/Reload on an unloaded page, or going to the URL without anything after the slash...
** by entering the URL followed by /ind, /tra, /sec, /env or /com . I think the last step http:// _ _ _ .myminicity.com/com , besides looking kinda funny, only adds to "Revenues" [sic] without even helping with unemployment... so /com seems to be only a ranking thing for the high-population centers.
Anyway, another tip is to add "/xml" at the end instead, since that will give you stats for the city without increasing population -or- infrastructure. From there, you can look, see what needs fixing ahead of time, and change the 'xml' to something else accordingly to make your visit an extra-helpful one.
People seem to appreciate it when you look before giving them population, or help them with needed infrastructure and leave a comment letting them know what you did. That's how little Konakutsuraki's grown as quickly as it has. My word of caution is that your list of people to visit and return favors to will grow larger...
Dang, Rick, -now- look what you got me into! --X=P
