I LIIIIIVE!! :D

Yes, I do not walk the Shadow Realm yet! :) Got damn busy in the last half of the year and just didn't have the energy for arting. Now that I'm a bit more settled (ho ho ho... we'll see what tomorrow's First Day Back throws at me), I'm itching to get some ideas out of my head. In that vein, what exactly are the rules around "adoptables"? Red is an old dog, and this "adoptables" thing is a new trick I see the kids doing. What are the prices? What are the do's and don'ts? What is good etiquette? Should each one be a unique and special snowflake?

I think the deal with them is that whoever buys your "adoptable" then "owns" the character and any rights to use, modify, get commissions of, etc. that particular design. I have seen lots of people buy adoptables and then do nothing with them, so idk. I think I have seen some artists state that if you don't produce a new, original piece of your adopted character within x timeframe, they will put the design back up for sale.
the whole thing seems silly and excessive to me, personally :0
We went to the seaside for our holiday. I'm still peeling! XD
Nice to have you back red.
btw check out Nabyn if you haven't already. It's a fairly new art site currently in beta testing. Membership is by invite only at this time but let me know if your interested. it's well thought out and puts an emphasis on forum activity and is not a popularity contest. Currently has 2000+ members.
Nabyn certainly looks interesting, but I don't think I'd do it much justice! :) Motivation for "original art" has gone down or maybe I just don't have an abundance of time at the moment. I just have a load of ideas that I want to pump out in generic form (which is sadly, the official MLP style). ;) Thanks for showing it to me though! *bookmarks*
