I feel the same way for the most part, the only redeeming parts of Skyrim is the more Open feeling that the island has, I think its actually kind of... ugly graphicly but ehh, I'm trying not to hate on it too much >.> atleast theres loads of mods! and possibly a future Multiplayer mod ^^

I find it pretty fun, so many quests to do and I've found them all enjoyable.
The gameplay is as fun as you want it to be in my opinion, there's enough options there to cater to your play style. In my case I just like sneaking around and shooting things with arrows. Or if you're reckless and just want to smash things use 2 handed weps, or use magic to conjure allies, set traps and fight from a distance. I feel there's enough there to satisfy most players.

Gotta agree with the glitchiness though ahaha, that's Bethesda tradition. It can be funny at times though :D
Not all the VA's are great but there are some good ones, like Cicero!

I think the appeal just comes from the sheer enormity of the game. There's a lot to see and do and it feels like you're on some epic quest. Even just going from point A to B you'll find yourself getting sidetracked and searching caves or lost ruins or something.
That and there's a large replayability factor, not just for quest choices but making a different character that can yield a fresh new experience on consecutive playthroughs.

I find bethesda games in general to be pretty stilted. While I admire their efforts to make a open, giant world with maximum amount of freedom of action, I tend to get tired of them real quick. =/

There's infinity things to do. Sure, it gets boring after a while, and then you play something else... But the itch to play it again came back to me and now I'm rehooked. *Shrug*
