Pedophillity is, translated literally, 'loving children'. So when you're pedophile, you love children. Perhaps you feel sexually attracted to them, but there's nothing you can do about that, I guess. Pedophillity isn't, like, "OH I SEE A KID, I WANT SEX WITH THAT KID!".

To give an example, suppose you're gay and you feel attracted to other males, but society doesn't want you to be gay. Perhaps you listen to your family, to society, and you won't touch males, you won't do anything with them.
But still you stay attracted to them. You can't change that, you can't change your feelings.

You can't put someone in prison, or even judge him/her because of him/her being attracted to someone/something.

As long as pedophiles don't rape children, they're still legal, they should be accepted in society, and they should be respected. Perhaps even more than just you and me, because THEY have to resist doing what they want, doing what they would like to do.
