Well, the Jackal is back and fully recovered from the four-day extravaganza that was Furry Weekend Atlanta! It certainly feels good to be home and back in the normal groove where I don't have to work from 8:am to 2am, I'm gonna miss the hustle and bustle of con-staffing. If you weren't there, you missed one hell of a convention. This year was our best yet, with an inflatable obstacle course for the fursuiter games and for anyone who wanted to run it, the regular chocolate fondu, Hali playing as our musical talent for the year, a rant from 2 the Gryphon, an amazing art show, a huge dealers den, and (of course I think this was the best) we had SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL in the video game room! Our numbers ranked an amazing 1048 in attendees this year, we had Bonk and Tilt Longtail as Guests of Honour, and they both rightly deserved it. And just to make the weekend better, my youngest son Keegan had his first birthday on the 15th of February, and was named the official con-baby of 2008! I hope to see all of you next year and I hope even more that you'll come visit me in the video game room!
