As you can see, I've been working at, well, work for the most part. I pushed and pushed to get all these entries to a decorating contest done and now I'm ready to move on. To what, you might ask? You remember that fursuit I started like a year ago? I want it done. I just purchased a bunch of fur on sale (fabricdepot.com) and that should push me to my goal. It also helped that a fine, 3" ply ivory, 60" width fox fur was marked from $37 something to $24.
I'm also going to revamp the mask that I have already. I'm just not satisfied with it. I'm going to redo the top of the head, ears and probably eyes. Maybe. I dunno about those eyes. If you want to know what I'm talking about, by the way, it's in my gallery. The issue of the eyes is visability. I can see, but it's foggy. I really don't like the idea of running into things all the time. I found a tutorial involving clear lenses with a buckram fabric backdrop. We'll see. If you have any ideas, suggestions, opinions, let me know. I considered doing the glass eye on top of black screen such and such. It's still not really what I want.
Hm, otherwise, things are kinda slow around here. I still haven't heard from my last commissioner - the hyena ears person - and might end up selling them if they go uncollected. Highest bidder.
