Furries on 'Taboo'

I'm watching the new episode of Taboo as we speak. I've honestly been waiting for them to cover the subject... As usual, many comments and opinions are rather judgmental, but that's about what we can
expect from these shows. Those who were featured in the segment, did pretty well at trying to defend the fandom at least. In all honestly, I wouldn't mind joining them. They look like they were having so much fun! *^.^*

Sad thing is, it's not really even fellow furs in the fandom giving us a bad name. From what I can judge, seemly all of the fringe groups saw what we were, and thought that that would be a good skirt to hide behind in an attempt to gain percieved legitimacy. And they took us down with them.

Apparently the crew was pretty respectful towards them so that's good to know. I think overall it was a positive change from the usual. Nobody was made out to look bad or stupid, yes it is mentioned that there is a darker side to the fandom, I think they did okay in trying to communicate that not all furries (them included) are associated with the sexual stuff. Hopefully people watching will get a better idea now of what it means to be a furry, even if they don't completely get it.

There was a Con that a News crew checked out up in WA while back that realy made Furries in good light. So least some groups are tryin show positive sides.

You mean? We don't run around in Bunny costumes screwing each other? and live with our mother's in the basement? And we molest people at Disney. Finaly someone is getting it. About time we get some respect.
