So what's going on?

The Berkley facility for researching hyenas has had their funding cut a couple of weeks ago. With that, they will begin euthanizing animals when the funds have run out. A handful of people are currently racing against the clock to move the remaining twenty animals to zoos or sanctuaries, build a new sanctuary, and relocate the hyenas. They are taking donations to keep the hyenas fed until they are re-homed. Those that are not adopted out, there is a sanctuary in the works, they will have a home, the people just need time to build it!. Also hyenas do not scent with their penis or clitoris. They have a scent gland under the anus. The main social function they use it for actually involves licking :)
