Does shrinking have a sound?

Often you see shrinking in movies, TV and cartoons, but what would you say would be the universal sound for shrinking? Or would it even have a sound? Perhaps music reflects shrinking?

A product of its time.
In real life, depending on the method:
Compression may result in squishes
Release of air/gas may result in belches, burbles, burps, or similar sounds.
General compression on the atomic scale, such that mass is not lost but atoms are held closer together...can't really think of one.
Mass-loss uniform shrinking, as above with atomic structure compression, there is no definite shrinking sound. Perhaps whatever causes either of these two hums loudly while it works?
If you shrink fast enough, you may create a vaccuum where you formerly occupied space. A 'woosh' or even a thunderclap for the case of large characters shrinking nearly-instantaneously may be heard as air rushes to fill the space.
Conversely, you may cause a 'woosh' by deformation while shrinking, causing a breeze outwards. Depends on the way you shrink, the speed, and how much you flail.
Of course, this is assuming science works in shrinkland!
