You really know who your friends are.

I've come to the conclusion that I have more acquaintances than friends.
People who tell me to my face that we're friends and how they always want to hang out. Yet I never get the time of day anymore. That if I don't go out of my way to contact you, I never hear from you. Some even more I try to contact and I'm just blown off.
I find it sad that people who are hundred of miles away from me contact me on a regular basis and yet people who are much closer are practically non-existent.
So you know what, screw you. It wouldn't hurt to hear from you every once in a while. And not make me feel like I'm just some person who was a temporary interest.

Instead, I hear from them less than people I know online. The two people I talk to the most live in Arkansas and Kentucky, 16 and 9 hour drives respectively. Yet someone who lives around the corner or as far as an hour away (which is still a reasonable commute) and unless I talk to them, I'm non-existent to them.
Despite when I finally do talk to them, all I hear about is how much they miss me. Bull shit...
Funny how often you'll find your better friends end up far away. :(
Just bear in mind that even if you haven't been contacted in a while, doesn't necessarily mean that you were completely forgotten or a temporary interest. Some individuals have busy lives on a regular basis. I can respect that.
Just something as simple as a text or a message online. No one's lives are so busy that they can take ten seconds to text a "Hey, how are ya?"
I want to talk to you on Yahoo messenger, but I hardly use it so I always forget to get on and you're invisible so I don't want to be always spamming you to ask if you're on x3
