Hello to all fellow furries … as maybe some of you know or have seen on my userpage: I am a big fan of large cats and especially snow leopards. Some of you may also know that the snow leopard is an endangered species. And that is the case even despite the fact that this species is protected in nearly every country they live in. The “Snow Leopard Trust” promotes research projects to learn about the behavior and how to help the cats best. Besides they work with local people to enhance their living conditions and gain their understanding and support for these beautiful cats.

I would like to help this trust and am right now trying to become a member of their “Artists in Conservation” program. I would supply them with photos for publications. Besides, I will donate a certain amount for each snow leopard photo that I sell somehow (and maybe a smaller amount from each other animal photo I sell).

So far I do not know how much to charge for a FineArt print so I am looking for suggestions what people would maybe willing to pay to support the “Snow Leopard Trust”. These FineArt prints are not the cheapest to be done but I think every good photo (and I hope mine are good enough to think that way) deserves a high quality and long life presentation.

A typical print of 20x30cm costs about 8€. A print 15x20cm including a passepartout would be about the same. Worldwide shipping from Sweden would be about 7€. So I would have costs of about 15€ for one print (shipping included). Do you think 25€ would be appropriate if 10€ go for the trust?

I will come back with another journal as soon as I have figured out all the details how to run the fundraiser. Do you have some ideas/suggestions?
