I've had little choice but to delay DD62 this week. My dad called me up a few days ago and asked for some help with a wood working project for the house. Since he doesn't have his truck fixed (it's been broke down for quite a while now) it's been up to me to go back and forth into town with my station wagon and load up lumber and drop it off back at the house. That's not even getting into the actual wood working. I'll probably be here at my house for a few more days helping my dad out.

The good news is that since everyone besides my parents has pretty much cleared out so I get to be able to finally clean up around here without someone stopping me or trashing it again shortly thereafter. The better news is that I now have my art desk set back up in my own house and that I should be able to work on Demordicai Diamonds a little from my house in between the time I'll be spending helping my dad. Me and Professor Awesome already have both the DD62 and DD63 scripts finalized so if all goes well I'll have two pages to post next week to make up for the lack of an update this week.

I haven't been able to get that security guard job I've mentioned in previous journals but not for the usual reasons. I've been getting the run around from my sister and she kept giving me new false information about who to talk to and how to contact them every time I asked her about it. She kept giving me the run around even on showing me on where it was. It seemed a little strange to me at the time since this was a job that she was already working and claimed that they were in desperate need of workers. Then I discovered why she has been giving me the run around. She's been lying this whole time about her employment there. Turns out, she got fired around a day or two after she first told me about it and that's when she started dodging and misleading me. This shouldn't come as any surprise considering her record. This isn't the first time she's done something like this. The last job she worked she claimed she quit but it was a week or two after we learned she was fired. When things went sour with her now ex-boyfriend she moved back here out of their apartment. Though she did in fact break up with him, turns out the two of them were evicted. It's annoying how she keeps telling these half-truths and leaving out important details and I don't appreciate her wasting my time and getting my hopes up. So I'm back out scouting around for work again.

So that's about all the main news I got for this week. Sorry for the Demordicai Diamonds delay but if all goes well I'll be able to work on both pages from my house. I might have some other extra stuff too depending on how much spare time I get and how fast I can get DD62 and DD63 done. I'll update my Weekly 5 List when I get back to Professor Awesome's house. I'm thinking it may be around Monday or Tuesday but I can't say for sure just yet.
