Hope you do well on your new scholl ^^ changes are always good oportunities to mature and learn new things.
But I can say, due to my work I also have to travel more than 2 hours per day...man, the impatience KILLS me x.x

Yea, completely new! I'm nearly alone since none of my friends went with me to the school, but its a good way to create more links anyway.
Perhaps I'm spoilt by the 15 minute journey to my old school. :/

Can I ask why did you have to change from school?

Well, in the education system here, after my 'O' level exams at the end of secondary school, it's a 2 year course to a junior college, where I do the 'A' level exams. The education system here is based on the British one.

And the O levels are taken at 16. Man, I feel I'm too young for this site. XD

I see, it seems like is a normal part of the system there, so don't worry, your new peers will all feel the same as you do. You'll end knowing them all sooner or later, on equal conditions

Now that's one true fact.. everyone's lonely. Makes it easier to actually make friends, as it is harder to join a group when they're already tightly knit.

I went from a very small middle school to a very large high school, and I had a much better time in high school. Not that it only had to do with size, but still... large isn't necessarily bad. Just a larger pool of potential friends, right? :3

Ah I feel so old now! Has it really been three years since I started university? Well not quite three years yet, but it’s getting close. Gah I swear time accelerates relative to oneself as they age. >_>

Make ALL the friends; it’s a good idea, especially your first year in your new environment. I’m sure you won’t be the only new guy who doesn’t know anyone ;). Sure it will have its ups and downs, but enjoy every moment of it before you have to face the dreaded working environment! *shudders*

Time definitely flies when we age. Though, it's really relative. I feel I've been in secondary school for forever, yet don't feel that the first day was that far back. But hey, I remember being 4 years old for like, forever! I love the life of a pre-school kid!

Well, I've made a couple of friends in the new school, it's a matter of time before some of these friends will become significant to my life. Currently, they're mostly acquaintances. You're totally right about nearly everyone being in the same disposition as I am, save for those who entered the school strategically with friends. And work environment is dreadful? I'll never know, but it really depends a lot on the company (both definitions). o_o I've had a bit of luck with the holiday jobs I've taken up, I guess.

And wise fox said so! So I shall keep on drawing foxes so I'll never be truly dead! I shall chase after eternal life purely by the allegedly benevolent act of drawing foxes!

High school will be fun! Your freshmen year is the best time to go in because its a perfect chance to make new friends. I got a bunch of new friends when I started high school hehe. Enjoy it while it lasts anyways, because college is right around the corner ><

Hmm, but it isn't high school. It's what they call "junior college" in the education system here, right before university (and a pesky army enlistment thing in between) So we don't really use terms like "freshman" or similar terms.

I'd guess it's similar to high school, except it starts later and ends quicker (only two years). But it's true, I've already gotten half a dozen contacts in the last 3 days. Perhaps more, I don't know. :P

Well nonetheless its a good chance XD Sad thing is though, that once you are in uni you will get a brand new bunch of friends XD Never ending cycle D:
