Whine whine complain

Bah.
The grey fur I've been using for Rooster shaves down too dark. My fault for not ordering a swatch and testing but still... ugh. I've got some new fur on the way for it but it still set me back a few hours of cutting and hand sewing all those pieces. Oh well. I'll work on her hands in the meantime and try out putting pawpads on them.
In other news Roy is almost done. Just some finishing touches on the body and the rest of the feet. Woot! Expect pictures in the next few days of his whole suit. :D
In other other news. Pulling an all-nighter. Omg so tired. Can't type. o____o

I look forward to seeing them! :D
If you ever start making a body and have any questions just shoot me a note. :]
I would assume it would be a pain in the ass to make the bodysuit for Roy because as you said his colors, but as soon as I learn bodysuits with my friend I will be sure to ask you if questions come up so thank you so much! I plan to start help making suits for commissions and such with
There is so much fur here, Sable, you have no ideaaaaa.
This would be easier if your suit had removable arms, but I think the principle might just work. You're making this current suit based on a specific coloration pattern of course. But, that doesn't mean that the character can't use dye as a temporary tattoo. As such, you can justify doing new paws or other detachable parts in new patterns using some of this excess fur. It'll give you the ability to add accents to the suit, such that it always seems a little new. This won't use THAT much extra fur, but will help.
The same principle can be retroactively applied to your previous suits. Indeed, this will allow you to add 'tattoos' to other projects, such as your hands/tails for sale. Now you can sell in pairs. One normal, one with some neat tattoo worked into it. Give the individuals some flair if they want it. ;)
