Okay, after the very appreciated help from our good friend Rodent, my computer was brought back to life and ran well. Very well in fact! Worked with Minecraft, I was able to rp, and even do some photoshop work!

But that's when things started to go south... the "alert! Please register your windows os" pop-up lit up my lower right screen. And after the time ran out, even after thousands of keys being tryed, my computer locked me out and prevented me from registering. No code worked, even my official key from the original os failed.

So I tried to work a windows 7 recovery disc, and so far it won't boot the OS for the life of it. Don't know, its dead.

If anyone can help, maybe an Xp or windows 7 disc that works, as well as has a key, would be greatly appreciated.

Once more, I appreciate what Rodent did for me, but I guess I wasn't in the cards.
