Weekly Wednesday Watch #17: Jumbo Saturday Edition
17 years ago
I haven't added any names to the watch list in three and a half weeks, so I've decided to do a load of them. Here they are, in alphabetical order.
With a memorable drawing style and a penchant for drawing fat, inflated, and/or radically transforming furs, he also shows the way with words that comic artists often have. Here's Alex Mancheno of Bent Propeller Productions.
An InflatioNational for eight years and an artist I've admired for most of my experience in the furry fandom, even back when the IN was on GeoCities, he has hundreds of pictures and tens of thousands of words in stories in his background, both with a good kind of wit and a cultivated style. That he's now commenting on others' work and letting others comment on his is a good accessory to his contribution to the fandom that we finally get to see on such a scale as this. I salute Captain Furry.
Finally, we have another guy with a recognizable style and a positive attitude. He draws fat very well, colors very well, and shows motion and emotion very well. His outside-the-box (sometimes outside-the-planet) approach is different enough for me to have almost gotten into a scrape with him without meaning to. Dragomike, everyone.
I already have a pair planned for next week, so stay tuned.
