hmmm, truthfully, there's quite a few differences in the two. IN yours, the legs are further back and most likely closer together, but in theirs the legs are more pressed forawrd, and probably apart since the end result is supposed to be a picture of charcters having sex. Plus, the tail positions are different, as well as the facial expressions/ear positions/what not. Plus, on their's, their upper body must be lower because the breasts are all squishy and what not while yours isn't.

I can see where you are coming from, but I think you may be looking a little to hard into this, maybe? Poses like that are pretty common from what I've seen.

It's possible, but seeing as the picture is supposed to be two people having sex, and the artist themselves say they have trouble drawing adult stuff, perhaps a side pose was just easiest for them. Maybe they weren't using your pose, but drew one that looks somewhat like it. I doubt they're being spiteful or anything.

Have you tried talking to teh actual artist about it, not just try and ask others about it (and possibly put some bad marks on the artist's name because you should know how easily fans can be affected by an artist they likes words. If they really start believe she copied off of you, they could start talking ill of her. Would you be happy having started that?)

Oh, I don't think they're being spiteful. But them saying they were having difficulty just makes me think all the more they might have referenced.

I left them a comment. 1) I have not said anything bad about Solemn, so the whole guilting remark of "Would you be happy having started that?" is completely unnecessary. 2) I expressly said I LIKE Solemn, this is just bad manners

true, I'm sorry about what I said. It was unessicary. I call the "period" excuse this time xD but if she did indeed copy your pose, then I guess that is a little bit rude, but I woulnd't be to upset about it. because she didn't copy it piece by piece, there are plenty of differences between them.

Maybe, though that would be kind of odd. If I had someone doing art for me, I'd want something new and fresh rather than something close to a piece I already have. If he *did* point to the piece to get it ref'd, that's bad form, too. It's more about manners than anything else. It isn't that original a pose, but I mean, it's pretty spot on

It is odd, I've had people ask me to do that in the past though. I don't like copying so I usually would do a minor variation of what the commissioner wanted.

Yeah, and there are minor variations (lack of hand, tail position) but other than that, it's fairly dead on. If it was art for someone else, I'd have shrugged it off, but seeing as how they're both for Zekumas? Eh. I'm not getting my tail in a knot or anything over it though *shrugs*

I'm going to go with 'no' on this one. I think the poses are close, that's true, but I have seen that pose done all over the place. In fact I might have one some where even in my gallery, it looks that familar. I dunno... I can't say I see a direct connection. =(

I'm going to have to go with this. The pose is a common one, and I don't see any telltale positioning of the arms, legs etc. that would make it stand out as a trace.

Also note, that I don't think you should be embarrassed or have any negative emotions as a recourse for inquiring on people's thoughts on this. With all the poodiddle that happens all over the place I don't think anyone blames artists for being some what paranoid. I get that sometimes too.

Eh, I think you're being too paranoid. They are both nice images and you both did good jobs, but I am not going to link one to the other. And you probably shouldn't try to appropriate that pose yourself; I hardly believe it hasn't been done before.

I too say no. The only real similarities I can draw by comparison is the arm cross and what looks to be an attempt at similar hair one the second one's part. The leg positions are different, as are are the bodies and the way they're distributed. I should also mention that the second one has the woman's breast placed upon the ground; while yours has them above ground. I will say that minor reffing to your work is a possibility though.
