I really don't know what to put here

I guess I just really want to say this point blank
Today they broke into my family's car and stole my laptop and 3DS
But I am not that upset
I know that these are just things and that they can be replaced easily
My laptop was 5 years old that wouldn't surprise me if it suddenly stopped booting up at one point
I lost several 3DS and DS games and the 3DS itself... but they are all material things and I'll replace them (very quickly even)
I know somewhere out there, someone lost more than a laptop and games
I am glad that my family is safe and sound
I am glad that I am safe and sound
I just wanted to say what has happened
I don't know what reaction I am expecting whoever reads this to have

It's good to know that you took this really well. Most people would've had a meltdown over it. But you're right. In the end, those are all just things. And things can be replaced. Lives cannot.

Ironically, where the theft occurred I was talking to my dad about a while ago that a manager at a restaurant was mugged and killed near the area that I was robbed... probably would've been better to lose my stuff than my life

ah I see. Well I definitely hope you feel better. It just sounded like you were still gonna be in good spirit because of how you mention like if it could've been worse or there were ways where you can recover easily...it makes sense that you still feel pretty shaken up about it of course...and I am sure it will come to pass =<

'Vulnerable', is perhaps one word that comes to mind, or rather a feeling of. Aside from it being a bag full of suck, things like this can really wake one up to reality and cause such a feeling. Sorry it had to happen to you, buddy. :|

Also a sorry from me, even if it's only material stuff, it's still worth something and you wouldnt carry it around with you if it would be useless. Hope you get some replacement at some point. *hugs*

Yeah, I definetly will get replacements for the things that I lost soon, wish that I didn't lose the games since that is time dedicated but better that than something worse happening

Ever thought of getting a card that lets you puut roms on it? Even if you are strictly against piracy, you already payed for the games getting a version off the net is just a replacement copy. Thats more legit than most downloaders get.
