Tablet woes (No art for a while sadly)

So as it turns out, ive been having issues with my tablet, they started shortly after Xmas and now my tablet is borderline dead...
So the issues are the following:
No drivers, any of them ive tried to download either do nothing, lack pressure sesativity, or do nothing!
Bad cord and/or cord is shorting out: After plugging it in and getting it to work i would hear a sound like it was connecting, then it would stop, then it would play the sound again, then work, then play it agian, then stop... when i asked a friend about it they said it sounded like a bad cord...
No pressure sesativity: Id say this is pretty self explanitory, ive fiddled with all the settings i can, and nothing fixes it, its just not working!
Just sits there: Yeah, i plug it in, try to do ANYTHING, and it sits there, no mouse, no drawwing, no anything.
And i cant afford to buy another, and i dont have a scanner to do physical drawwings with, AND even if i did have a scanner i dont have my drwwing gear... and i cant afford to buy a new tablet... so until i figure somehting out, i cant do ANYTHING art related,... and that bums me out, a lot...
