LAFF and transportation complications

General
One of the most interesting LAFF night I've had as of yet from when I first left home until I arrived back home:
Visited Grandparents
Left and rushed to get to bus and missed it by 10 seconds.
Caught the next bus that arrived to my second bus stop.
Missed the second bus.
Caught the one after to the Metra line.
Was told by another Metra passenger going the same way that it would be coming on the side he had been on.
Eight more Metra riders arrived going the same way.
The Metra arrived... on the other side.
A group of 10 running for the other side, which involved jumping down stairs and practically crawling up stairs on the other side to catch the train before it took off (since that would mean a 2 hour wait for the next one)
Got a few scrapes in the midst of the confusion as I ran to the other side.
Caught the Metra in time and took it to the Downers Grove Main Street stop.
~7:30 PM
Ironically arrived at Tivoli two hours early since I thought the trip would take longer than it had.
Walked to Walgreens which was somewhat nearby and bought something to nom during the wait.
Walked back to Main street and stopped at Caribou Coffee, buying some hot chocolate for the wait.
Entered Tivoli.
Bought my LAFF bowling badge, played pool, hugged friends, wore my new tail which had been squeaker-squeeked a few times while I had been there.
11:42 PM
Went outside and watched as the last Metra of the night left me behind. Was helped out by
who at first offered to give me a ride to the orange line after they went to Steak and Shake
I found out that the Orange line didn't run from about 1-4 AM so I'd have about a 2-3 hour wait after Steak and Shake before service resumed.
He helped me find an alternative way with
who was willing to give me a ride to the Purple line after he dropped
off at home from the bowling meet.
I accepted he offer and thanked them for their help.
During the ride there, I received calls but my phone, being as it is, behaved like a pager where I could tell what number had been trying to reach me but once it was opened I received a blank white screen ( I reeealy, need a new phone :\ )
We arrived at E's and dropped him off and calculated the route to the purple line.
Since I had been extremely tired from the long night, I didn't remember whether the purple/red line stop had been Howard or Linden. So I was accidentally dropped off farther North at the Linden stop.
~1:15 AM
I took Linden south to Howard where I then transferred to the Red line and took it down to Roosevely where I thought I could take the Green line back home without having to pay for an additional bus/train pass.
I went upstairs and noticed that the Green line path had been blocked off by a gate. I went out of the turnstile and talked to the train attendant.
He told me that the Green line had already stopped running for the night and wouldn't begin running until around 6 AM.
~1:45 AM
The train attendant told me that to take Chicago Ave (a bus that could take me where I needed to go to get home) I would need to get BACK on the Red line in the opposite direction.
I payed for the train transfer again through the turnstile and headed to Jackson where I knew I could transfer to the Blue line since it runs at all times.
I arrived at Jackson and walked across an exceptionally long hallway to transfer from the Red line train to the Blue line train.
~2:20 AM
Listened and talked to a subway musician until the train arrived
2:58 AM (time was checked)
Entered the Blue line train and took it to Chicago, Ave.
~3:20 AM
Arrived at the Chicago Ave bus stop
Checked the bus stop shelter's arrival time monitor.
It would take 22 minutes for the bus to arrive.
I went to Walgreens (again) since it was across the street from the bus stop and spent a few minutes there.
~3:26 AM; approximately 16 minutes to bus arrival
Listened to music until the bus arrived.
~3:45 AM
Got off of the last bus
3:58 AM
Arrived home.
4:02 AM
Began typing "LAFF and transportation complications" on my iTouch until it could be transferred to an FA journal in the morning
~5:00 AM
Finally managed to fall asleep since the energy drink had been keeping me awake.
9:19 AM
Received a text from a fur local to me, asking "Are we still hanging out today?" O.o

FA+

if I hadn't had to work today I might have stayed longer and could have given you a ride directly to where you needed probably
