MEGACON Saturday Fursuit Report

I almost died, but it was totally worth it xD
Remember kids: When fursuiting, you NEED a bottle of water EVERY HOUR because heat exhaustion is not fun, and can escalate to heat stroke REALLY FAST

I have never been to a con with this much love for the suiters! NEVER! No one had anything bad to say! It was great x3 This was the most fun I've ever had and all I did was walk the halls and interact. Didn't pay for the other events, just walked around and had FUN. I'm a con bum xD
I ran into a lot of friends, and made a few new ones. I wish someone caught me breaking out dancing to PartyRock. I heard the beat drop, went with it, and got a lot of reaction. Needless to say, it was awesome.
There was a tiny girl that shied away from all the other suiters, but came right up to me. I interacted, posed for the photo, got a tiny hug, and she and her father were on their way. We all stopped for a break and sat, and I was being stubborn and didn't want to take off my head. I was talking to Trigger, and felt a tap on my shoulder. It was the father, and he told me that the little girl dragged him all the way back because she wasn't done.... she was just so adorable I could have squeezed her to bits xD
There was a green-screen-suit guy in line for an event and the con-staff was telling his line to back against the wall for traffic-flow-reasons, and Greeny 'assumed the position' as though he were going to be frisked. I went up and fake-humped him.... and it took a long time for his friends to finally give in and crack up, so that he could figure out what was going on. There's a photo or two of me doing that somewhere.
I teabagged with a Halo Jackal.
I dove into a photo that the others were posing for and posed too.
I complimented a billion other cosplayers and got the widest range of reactions, but still the worst was just a glance/ignore, so that's still not bad x3 My favorite was the TARDIS.... I squeed and legitimately put my hands up by my face, and she thought it was adorable, so I did it again for her xD
The zombies that were there in the zombie march weren't very serious, so I ran away, came back, got mauled and joined the march for a bit.
Near the end we really needed to get back to cover, so we made a BeeLine straight to our little meeting place, and I feel really bad for the people we disappointed!!!! We were hot, tired, and hungry, so we needed to get out of there fast. I heard that it made a few people upset that we were heading out so quick, but I know I was dieing, so everyone else couldn't have been in much better shape. I doubt any of them will ever see this, but I did want to apologize! I'm really sorry that we couldn't stay for more photos but there's nothing worse than a dead furry x3

Everywhere I've been with fursuiters in public, everyone loves them. We had a recent meetup near Las Olas and everyone wanted to grab the suiters for photos, the managers of bars wanted us to visit and hang out, etc. It was amazing.
That's why whenever I see furry hating going on, I remind people that it's only a very tiny number of idiots and that the vast majority of the world adores the cuteness. :)
