Edit!
The game in question was found by
- it was Doom Troopers Chronicles all along X3 http://www.consoleclassix.com/genes.....hronicles.html
As i was just a young lad with a nekkid beard back in serbia, i owned an used sega mega drive. The game library i posessed was humble at most, counting just few games in it like Sonic 1 and 3, Street Fighter 2 and that futuristic Phantom game (Phantom sumthing a.d.)...as you might imagine, i spent most time borrowing or swapping the games with local gamer dens and played such all time classics as Mortal Kombat 2 and 3, FIFA and NBA 96 and little mermaid (i never said i knew better...). But theres one game thats been haunting me to this very day and i just cant remember its title, even if my life depended on it! It mustve been quite a generic game for the system and i doubt it ever gained a cult following, but seeing that the games in Serbia back then were a rare feast which you couldnt simply buy at the next store (actualy, there was just one, ONE official game dealer called Beosoft - the rest was bought privatly all around the planet...what can i say, one of the whidespreadest consoles was Terminator 2...just dont let me start on that one, it was horrendous...) the games i played found its place in my heart (xcept little mermaid, it fucking suckd!). Yea, its my piece of nostalgia...i havent heard about Zelda or even Metroid for years to come. But anyways, back to the game - as said, its yer basic shoot-em-up platformer, sumwhat liek contra with better graphic and funky music (at least, i nthought that back then...actualy, scratch that, i didnt know what contra is either at dat point). It was single/ two players co-op game where ya could choose between a bulky marine with heavy Maschinegun, wearing sum kind of blue armor AND a gray robot guy with dual MPs and (what i thought back then) a beautifull, sandy yellowish mane. The game had several levels, consisting of two or more parts and an boss fight at the end, spreaded over several planets of our solar system . i think the first was venus, then there was also jupiter and pluto. The game was bloody as hell, with enemies getting their bodies ripped and shredded appart, featuring a lenghty death animation before they dropped thru the floor (now that i write it, it does sound silly...). The bossez were also quite sick, the first one being a canibalistic skeleton sitting on a pile of bones and throwing sum at you, which you have to deflect before drowning in that guys puke - yeah, he pukes constantly and you can drown in it...
Anyways, if anyone knows this game, please share the name - at least ill have a chance to put it at a test and maybe finaly rid of my nostalgic glasses - or, in case with Castelvania 2 on game boy, relive my childhood again <3

FA+

It has you going from plane to planet, weird bosses etc
Also, I warn you, game is bad, though has some fun aspects like picking up an enemy and obliterating them
Mebbe ill give both a snes and sega emulator a try ;3
I own over 60 PSP games, and about 5 jap to english translated games like Monster hunter Portable 3rd
If the PSVita gets the same homebrew treatment I will buy it in a moments notice, I love how versatile the PSP is when its completely unlocked
For SNES, get ZSNES http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.ph.....nes/zsnes.html
For Sega Genesis, get Fusion (it's kind of a multiplatform emulator, can also run games for Sega SG1000, SC3000, Master System, Game Gear, SegaCD/MegaCD and 32X http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.ph.....is/fusion.html
Best SNES emulator out right now for performance too quality is SNES9x, though the best, best for perfect perfect emulation is BSNES but that requires some heavy duty hardware to run, not to mention still can't run as many games as SNES9x can
