It's getting harder each day. I made a Journal like this before a few months back, and the feelings are returning. That bit of "Friendsick" that I feel where I want to be done and over with. But this time it's not out of the sadness or missing my friends. Oh no, this time it's anger. Deep, ugly anger.
See, last semester I kinda had a bit of a... downfall, as far as grades went. I bombed one class and failed it, while two others I did very poorly in. Partly it was tough classes, partly it was just the inability to actually be able to just, well, do anything. I was in a state of sadness and depression much of last semester. This Semester it's biting me back only a little. I've been keeping up with my classes as much as I can, doing the work. Except for one class. This class? Environmental Sustainability. It's a required class for me, but something I can take later with a different teacher, ortough through and get it overwith. I haven't done much of the work not really out of laziness but because I don't have the opinions for the work. Yes, it's OPINION based work. "Oh there's no right or wrong answers" Well yes there is if your going to nitpick my opinion, which I have none of. Yes, the Tragedy of the Commons is a tragedy, but humanity sucks. I deal, you deal too. Oh, that little malformation in that district of Japan due to mercury poisoning? I'm sorry, that sucks, but it doesn't affect me.
Sad to say, but It really comes down to me. makes me sound shallow, but forgive me if i decide to be shallow this one moment. It doesn't affect my life as of right now. Sure, some of the laws and Regulations set forth might affect my life, and I can understand the grand scheme behind the Tragedy of the commons, but really?
Most of what this comes down to is opinion based essays about something I have no opinion on. And even if I had an opinion on it, I suck at Opinion based essays.
Mind you, I've talk with other people in those classes taught by different teachers, and apparently they have more than just these opinion based Essays.
I dunno. I'm ranting and I'm angry just because things seem to be getting blown out of proportion for the teachers. :/
