The first ten people who comment - and have art of their own in their galleries :) - will be featured here along with three of my favourite pieces by them.
The catch is: you have to put this in your journal.
1.
LusoPakak
This person's gallery is filled with character drawings of both his own design and those of others (gifts). His chibi style, with friendly expressions, the colored lines and light colors create a happy feeling to all of his drawings.

It's always fun pretending you have super powers, and Luso here took two characters and drew them if they were cosplaying as super heroes. The high five star is as nice touch

I enjoy the simple suit outfit, with this character's partner robot (I'd assume). Also, th solemn expression on the left character's face is a nice touch. Now despite how much I love video games I didn't get to own one until I was like 16, so I don't know anything about this game or it's characters.

Another pair of two characters high5-ing, they look to be the same characters too, but this time they've dressed up at Santa and Rudolph. Again the comical expressions are great, the Santa seems to be laughing because of Rudolph's expression.

My good friend Ray here, uses thin lines with and also very good expressions in his art. I enjoy the pastel colors he uses most of the time, and the weighted lines he also sometimes uses.

The contrasting line weight is just awesome, and use of colors to set the mood. the lone speech bubble with "alone" it in mixed with the contemplative look make for a great picture. I also enjoy how it looks cell shaded from far away, but upon closer inspection, it has some soft, almost paint textured shading.

omg it's something that's not furry art! heh heh. I like this picture a lot. The different uses of colors with the detailed city silhouette make for good contrast. lol I get a kick out of the combination of cubism and Cubans in both the title, and style of this piece. The speech bubble is also quite funny. And not to mention it was ray's first painting, so he deserves at least a punch in the face of congratulations for doing so well.

This zombie jam is really impressive, even though it's not completed. He started doing a great job on the coloring and shading, and the slightly blurred lines are a nice touch. I should force him to finish that.

scaurus
A newer friend of mine, Chris mainly draws with pens over top of pencils. He enjoys drawing mythical creatures, and reptiles. His gallery is also sprinkled with some great commissions he's had done, mine lame-ass commission for his collection is not yet finished.

Even though I'm not a fan of vore, I find this to be a cool drawing. I like the dragon's design. The many different colored legs and the saliva on the tongue are nice touches to detail.

This temple drawing is simply amazing. All lot of work was put into the detail and perspective. The floor design is a nice touch too. I'm such a sucker for architecture drawings. :)

The snake head is well drawn, and the line weight is a nice touch for the details. In my opinion, the anatomy was well done and so it the body positions.
I was going to put this as one of the main three, but I realized I was probably just being biased towards it:

Scaurus was nice enough to make fan art of a character from a comic I'm making. :) Again, I like the line weight used on this. The arm on the waist and slightly uncaring expression shows his character well.

What made you decide to do it?
I reposted the meme here. I have quite a few less watchers, so I dropped the count to 5.
