Hmmm. While I approve of dog-dom households conceptually, looks like they're REALLY aiming at the kiddie audience.

Oh well, hoping against hope is the fate of the funny animal cartoon enthusiast :)

I feel like adding a "love interest" is just too cliche. :-/ I'm still willing to give it a chance though.

I only read a synopsis of the cartoon (and didn't watch the old cartoon) but isn't the kid supposed to be adopted by the dog? yet he still calls him Mr. Peabody?
I agree with the love interest trope. :T It'd be better if they use this adventure to only cement a new friendship.

I watched the old cartoon a bit because my father really likes Rocky and Bullwinkle. It is sort of like Sherman is "adopted" by Mr. Peabody, but the cartoon was really about them going back in time in the wayback machine and watching humorous events happen in history (complete with horrible puns at the end of each episode).
