A lesson I should know, so I remind others:
Be a bit careful about what you tell people you hardly know (eg, online.) You don't know them, and they may quickly turn and use anything you told them as a knife to jam in your guts as deep as they can. Folks online can be quick to judge, and very cruel, because to them it's just words on a screen even tho it may be highly personal to you. The ethos of the net is to ignore trolls and idiots, hit X, be done - but it's easier said than done when they use personal information that has great meaning to you. That person who is being so nice to you now, may tomorrow be using it all to hurt you as much as they can. And bad people will be expert at saying the last hurtful word and blocking before you can reply, expain, or anything. They will have needed to become so.
It's a lesson I am reminding myself of, and hopefully may help someone else out there. You probably all know this far better than me, but I'm a dumb husky.

There's no panel on their face that allows us to know if someone is be trust worthy and not a stabber.
