So, for about the past month or so, I've been on a diet, ever since I weighed myself and found that I was about 15 pounds heavier than I thought I was. So, I've been cutting back on junk food and second helpings and things like that, trying to eat just a little bit better. And so far, I've dropped about five pounds, but things have kinda leveled off there, and I want to lose a bit more.
Now, I've been saying for some time that I want to join my friends
tiptoe and
maximus-ursus at their regular gym forays, but I've never been able to do it, due to distance, finances, and scheduling. But, I've resolved instead to work out at home. Thanks to
pan I've finally got a working PS2 again, so I've decided to pull out my old DDR dancemat. I figure if I start with a 15-minute session every day, and eventually work my way up to 20 or 30 minutes as my endurance improves, I can shed those pounds effectively and get the results I'm looking for.
Just finished my first session today, and I must say, I can feel it. My legs are sore, but it's a good feeling. I'm definitely going to do my best to keep this up, and hit my target weight.

I used to play a lot in high school, and it actually did help keep me fit. Just need to get back into the swing of things.

Wee, heh. That's cool, foxy. I hope you do well ^.^ I've been trying to eat better too and I need to get back into habit do some type of "cardio" exercises daily or every other day again, heh. I've fallen out of habit.

I'm glad for you Cooper. I'm attempting to do the same thing except I'm doing martial arts. I know you can do it. I've lost about 10 pounds since I visited and its coming off slowly. Just put your mind to it and you can do it.

Yay! Let me just say even us skinny guys need to work out to, I never noticed how weak I actually was until I stared doing weekly PT with other Navy recruits, and doing runs on my own. So more power to you, buddy! I'm right with you.
